Veggie Omlette can be served in the kids tiffin and they will definitely love it.
Ingredients for 2 servings
- Gram flour (Besan) -1/2 cup
- Curd - 1 cup
- Chopped vegetables as per your choice such as beans, capsicum, cabbage, carrot etc - 1 bowl
- Potato grated - 1 cup
- Onion fine chopped - 1 cup
- Chat Masala - 1 tsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Chilli Powder - as per taste
- Oil for cooking
Method for Preparation -
Gas Stove Version
- Take one big bowl and add all above ingredients except oil.
- Mix and make a batter with the help of spoon.
- Add some oil in frying pan preferably non stick and heat it on medium flame. Then add batter in frying pan and spread with the help of spoon or ladle.
- Put the cover of the pan and leave it for 10 minute on low flame.
- Put some oil on the edges and turn the veggie omelette with the help of spoon.
- Leave it for 2 minutes to cook.
- Take it out and serve with chutney or ketchup.
Baked Version
- Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.
- Grease the muffin liner with oil using brush.
- Take one big bowl and add all above ingredients except oil.
- Mix and make a batter with the help of spoon.
- Fill the muffin liner with batter and keep them in oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Take it out and serve with chutney or ketchup. This one will definitely be enjoyed by the young ones. This can be packed in tiffin box as healthy snack.
Tips
1. Add grated carrot as it will enhance the taste and appearance.
