Coriander or Dhaniya leaves has no. of essential oils, minerals and vitamins, with number of benefits. Chutney is one of the fastest moving item on my family's dining table. Sometimes I prepare Mint Curd Chutney or Cocunut (Nariyal) Chutney ot Coriander Tomato Chutney. The recipe I am sharing today is Coriander leaves and Toamto Chutney.
Ingredients:
- Coriander leaves: 8 - 10 bunches
- Tomato : 1 medium size
- Green chilli : 4 nos.
- Garlic: 1 pods
- Ginger: 1/2 inches
- Salt : As per taste
Method of Preparation :
- Take coriander leaves and wash it properly.
- Now take a mixer grinder jar and add coriander leaves, tomato, green chilli, garlic, ginger and salt.
- Grind all things together in a fine paste.
- Your Chutney is ready. Take it out in a bowl and serve it.
- Garnish with a coriander leaf.
Shelf life:
It can be used up to one week if stored in refrigerator.
Tips:
- If you want to enhance the flavour then grill tomato on gas stove and peel off its outer skin and then add in grinder jar.
- Same way you can grill garlic also. This chutney has great taste in either way
- You can also add few drops of mustard oil. It will also enhance the flavour.
