Apple Orange Mocktail

Delicious and crunchy apple is one of the most popular and favorite fruits among the health  conscious. Certain antioxidants in apples have health promoting and disease prevention properties, and thereby, truly justifying the age old adage, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
Studies suggest that its components are essential for optimal growth, development, and overall wellness.

There is another type of apple apart from red apple which is green apple  you might have heard  or seen in departmental stores.

Green apples provide a huge range of health and beauty benefits. Green apples are more of sweet and sour type. These possess glossy skin, along with a juicy flesh. They're high in fiber and help keep the digestive tract clean and healthy.

These are used in the wine industry, in cooking, and, they are specially grown for their healthy oils.

One more constituent  in this recipe
which I am going to explain below is orange.

Oranges are rich in citrus limonoids, proven to help fight a number of varieties of cancer including that of the skin, lung, breast, stomach and colon.
Drinking orange juice regularly prevents kidney diseases and reduces the risk of kidney stones.

So recipe which I am going to write below is very healthy, nutritious full of vitamin C and antioxidant as well as tasty and exotica drink which can be served on any occasion.
Recipe is too simple and easily can be prepared in 5 minutes.
Here is the recipe.

Ingredients: for 4 glass approx

  1. Apple Juice: 1/2 litre
  2. Orange juice: 250 ml (Approx half glass)
  3. Green Apple: 1 medium sized
  4. Honey : 2 tsp
  5. Lemon : 2
  6. Ice cubes: Few pieces
  7. Soda: 200 ml (Optional)

Method of Preparation:
  1. Take green Apple, deseed it and roughly grind it in mixer. You don't have to grind it into fine.
  2. Now take apple juice, orange juice and mix it.
  3. Mix grinded green apple in it. Add lemon juice and honey. Mix it well
  4. Now take a long glass pour this mixture. Put some pieces of green apple and lemon on the rim of glass.
  5. Put some ice cubes in glass. Serve it with smile to your guests.
Notes:
  1. Add lemon juice and honey as per your taste. If you want little sweet taste, add little more honey. Orange juices are little sour in taste so add lemon juice as per your  taste.
  2. You can add soda in this too. It also gives a good taste and flavour to mocktail. I didn't use it here in my recipe. This is purely optional. If you have to serve it in party then serve it with soda. It will be great pleasure for your guests.
  3. If you want to make it little tangy taste then you can add on pinch of salt or chaat masala in it. This is optional. I didn't use it.
